Bill Westfall Leadership Training  (DISC)

The Bill Westfall training at the URSTA Spring Conference was a huge hit with URSTA members.  Many reported it was the best training session they had ever attended.  If you missed the training you can download the personality test for you and your employee's.

  Transit News in Utah

UTA announces the opening of the Mid-Jordan & West Valley Trax Lines...August 7, 2011.

On Aug. 7, 2011 UTA will open the Mid-Jordan and West Valley TRAX lines. The Mid-Jordan line will travel from South Jordan to the University of Utah and replace the existing University line. The West Valley line will travel from West Valley City to downtown Salt Lake City. These new lines also bring many changes to UTA’s bus system.   See the UTA website for the updated change day information.

Utah Clean Cities

URSTA has partnered with Utah Clean Cities.  Utah Clean Cities was created to reduce America's dependence on foreign oil.  Utah Clean Cities also works to enhance the air quality in our local communites.  The URSTA Board of Directors recently attendended a presentation by Utah Clean Cities on the "Idle Free Campaign".  See the following  websites for more information on Utah Clean Cities and information on how your fleet can become idle free.
